Common questions
Cards live on your device, so they survive without a network. Sharing a card uses NFC, QR, or a dexapp.biz/i/ link. Recipients without Dex can still view a card from the link in any browser.
Troubleshooting scans
If a card scan misses a field, retake the photo with even lighting and the card filling most of the frame. You can edit any field after import.
Account, deletion, and export
Dex has no account system. To delete a card, swipe it out of My Cards. To export contacts in bulk, use the share-as-vCard option on each card.
Reporting an issue
When something is broken, include the device model, OS version, and a short description of what you tried. Screenshots help.
